​Thematic guided tour by the museum’s archaeologist-museologist dr. I. Motsianos of the Museum, titled “Lighting devices”.

The visitors will be informed on the different types of lighting devices the Byzantines used: clay lamps, torches, metal and glass lamps. Before the guided tour, a short video on “Clothing in Byzantium” is shown in the amphitheatre "Melina Mercouri".  

After the guided tour, an award-winning film, titled “Return”, which is a production of the Museum, will be shown in the amphitheatre “Melina Mercouri”.
